Daniel Shadbolt (born 1980) is from Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire, just north of London in the UK. He moved to London to study painting at the Chelsea College of Art and Design (2000-3). Following his degree in Fine Art he completed The Drawing Year at The Royal Drawing School (2003-4). He has exhibited widely in the UK and has pictures in many private collections around the world.

He has taught painting at The Heatherley School of Fine Art since 2008 and became an elected member of The New English Art Club in 2015. His book on ‘Painting and Drawing the Head’ was published by The Crowood Press in 2016. This year, 2026, will feature new online tuition and mentorship for three international companies; Mastrius, Penn Studio School and Winslow Art Center.
